Lakeland Catholic Schools Mourn Pope Francis Novena for the Repose of His Holiness (Day 4) Merciful and loving God, We come before You with hearts full of gratitude and sorrow as we remember Your servant, Pope Francis. You called him to be a shepherd to Your people, a voice for the poor, and a sign of Your mercy to the world. As we entrust him to Your eternal care, we ask You to welcome him into the joy of Your heavenly kingdom. Grant him peace, and give us strength to carry forward the light of his witness. Through Christ our Lord. Amen. Voice of the Poor: We honor his deep concern for the marginalized. May we continue to see the face in Christ in all those we encounter in our lives. What better way to make the most of a March snow day in Alberta than with a round of curling? Our Grade 7 students embraced the winter weather and had a great time learning strategy, teamwork, and the art of the perfect curling shot!

Staff and Students would like to send a big THANK YOU to Parent Council for funding our swimming and skating!!! The kids had a great time :)
