On Sunday, Light of Christ Catholic School staff were welcomed at St. Catherine’s Catholic Church in Lac La Biche, where they were introduced to parishioners alongside Trustee Donna Cloutier and Fr. Anselmo.
It was a wonderful opportunity for our school community to come together in faith and continue building the relationships that make Light of Christ such a special place for students and families.
Thank you to St. Catherine’s parishioners for the warm welcome and for being an important part of our Light of Christ community.

Fr. Anselmo visited classrooms this week to bless our prayer tables, learning spaces, students and staff.
Students took time to reflect on the significance of the prayer table in our Catholic faith before joining Fr. Anselmo in prayer and receiving a blessing with holy water.
It was a beautiful reminder as we begin a new school year that Christ is at the centre of all we do, present in our classrooms, our learning and the way we care for one another.
We are grateful to Fr. Anselmo for his prayers, his blessing and for helping our students begin the year surrounded by the love and presence of God.
